The world hasn't seen a truly
new game in the Street Fighter series for more than 10 years. That fact alone has left fans worried that the inevitable Street Fighter IV will stray too far from the series' roots. Well worry no more. Other than some spruced-up visuals and a few tweaks to the controls, SF IV will offer the same 2D fighting that fans have come to love, albeit with a new 3D look. All eight classic characters are confirmed to be returning as are original bosses Sagat, Balrog and M. Bison. The "story," such as it is, is confirmed to be set between the events of SF II and SF III.
